SUBSEA engineering and project-management company CSL said yesterday that it had won a £7.6million contract in the UK southern North Sea.
The work was awarded by Silverstone Energy and MCX Exploration (UK) and involves the decommissioning of the Tristan North West development.
The project involves subsea intervention and abandonment of two wells, one live and one suspended, and decommissioning of associated subsea infrastructure.
Aberdeen-based CSL will manage the programme from start to finish and will collaborate with Helix Well Ops UK for the provision of well-intervention, abandonment engineering and diving services, and with BMT Cordah for environmental management services.
Mark Gillespie, CSL managing director, said: “We’re delighted to secure this contract.”
